Two gents, a lady and a dog?

A postcard bought from Oswestry indoor market.

Two gentlemen, a lady and a dog or a cat? The animal looked to large to be a cat but I could be wrong.

No message on the reverse.

Garden Family Photo No1

This small photograph was bought with a handful of others from a car boot sale at Worfield (near Bridgnorth, Shropshire), the photos all show different members of the family in the same garden.

This one Measures 2.25 x 3.25″ and has no message on the reverse.

The young  lady has a beautiful face and the dog has managed to stayed still in a rather awkward position.

Ladies drinking tea

ladies drinking tea

A photograph mounted on card measuring just over 6 x 8 inches bought from Stafford Antique Fair yesterday from Jo who runs Hesta Nesta

The two western ladies dressed in traditional eastern clothing look as though they are enjoying tea and noodles in the far east.

No further information was contained on the back of the image.

Wilson & Mrs W. Hoskin

Postcard bought from an Antiques Fair in Kinver last Sunday.

The back of the image doesn’t contain any information although the photograph shows the names of the people who lived at the properties in the windows above the doors.

Wilson , 7 Laurel Bank and Mrs W.Hoskin 5.

There is also another address at the top of the photo which reads 5 Noyna

I like the mixture of expressions on their faces and the few who have moved appearing like ghosts.

Unfortunately Laurel Bank is quite a common address and a search of google streetview hasn’t provided me with match.

The second photograph from an album bought at a car boot sale near Dudley.

The album is titled snapshots and the photography shop details are as follows:

Bell & Jones, Photographic Chemists, 110 Lichfield Street, Walsall.

Open Door

Postcard bought at Bangor car boot sale in North Wales.

No message on the back of this postcard.

I found details in the photo fascinating; the open door, the ladies dress,

the stones on the window ledge and can you see a third person?
