Lady, dog and a doorway part ii

Image

The second photograph from an album bought at a car boot sale near Dudley.

The photograph shows the same dog but this time a younger lady ( perhaps the older ladies daughter?) sitting in front of the same doorway .

The album is titled snapshots and the photography shop details are as follows:

Bell & Jones, Photographic Chemists, 110 Lichfield Street, Walsall.

Lady, dog and a doorway

I bought this photograph as part of an album at a car boot sale near Dudley.

The photographs in the album appear to be of the same family and several of them are taken in front of this doorway .

The album is titled snapshots and the photography shop details are as follows:

Bell & Jones, Photographic Chemists, 110 Lichfield Street, Walsall.

I will post the other photographs from the album in the future….

Young ladies in national costumes

Postcard bought from a car boot sale in Cheltenham.

This is another photo without any clues on the reverse other than a gap for a half penny stamp which may indicate that it is Victorian.

Are they drama students acting out a play or perhaps part of an amateur dramatics group?

The Union Jack features on both the shield and one of the girls skirts. They look to me as if they are representing different nations or perhaps the Commonwealth?
