The second of two photographs, the reverse of this one reads ‘Eastuary (or Easting) Lodge & car – going away Feb 6th 1934.
The photographer was lucky enough to frame the lady waving within the car window.
Hi Rich. This is great. This would be difficult to take / frame today. As you are showing, sometimes amateur snaps are the best. Cheers. Phil.
Hello Phil, glad you liked it. It would be difficult to frame her with any modern camera.
Wonderful glance into “going away” in times past.Something we sadly take for granted now.
True, these days it might not even be recorded.
Wonderful tiny detail that most would’ve missed. Very special photo.
Thanks Katherine, it’s one of my favs!
