I’m sure you googled Elamara, which doesn’t really help that much does it? Could it be El Amara? They look to be in exotic gear that one might imagine existed once in the Middle East. Could it be the name of a play? It is strange that they say ‘mom’ not mum. It is a photo well out of place.

Yes, I thought they must have been some sort of performers. Perhaps they had their photograph taken after a bad performance!

I did google it but couldn’t find an exact match, it could be El Amara I might have to do a little more research….
Mom is common in the West Midlands area,so probably local to where Richard found it.
P.S. Kut Al amara was a great seige of WW1,so perhaps the play is about that.Would put the photo maybe in the 1920s?
